Gameweek 8 in Fantasy EPL Draft has come and gone, and it didn't disappoint on the surprises. In this Fantrax Recap we will dive in to the results of the excellent matches while taking a look at some interesting player and team analytics.
Fantrax Recap - Gameweek 8 Top Scorers Fantasy EPL Draft

This lineup shows the highest scoring Fantasy EPL draft lineup using default fantrax scoring for gameweek 8.
Obviously, in the draft format you will likely only have a few of these players. However, there were some real gems this week that may have flown under the radar in your league.
While Mo Salah was a clear Top 5 pick in most drafts, Jack Harrison's first Everton start may have provided fantasy managers a much needed waiver wire boost.
Fantrax Recap - Gameweek 8 Top 5 Performers

Raheem Sterling is Chelsea's main creative force and veteran. If Poch can unlock him, it will be a strong fantasy season for the tricky Blues winger.
Salah's fantasy contributions have been some of the most consistent over the past 3-4 years. He will continue to be a top fantasy asset with a strong liverpool side this season.

Alexander Isak continues his strong campaign, as Newcastle try to balance their league form with the rigors of the Champions League group of death. Isak should continue to contribute well in the fantasy space this season.

Willian is also one to watch for Fulham as he takes plenty of shots, set-pieces and sees a lot of the ball creatively for the cottagers. Beware though, inconsistency could leave you wanting more and Fulham have a very tough upcoming run of games with Spurs, Brighton, Man U, Villa, Liverpool and Newcastle in their next 10 games.
While Sterling, Salah and Isak in the above team are 100% rostered, congratulations if you were one of the 38% of fantasy managers who rostered Jack Harrison for his first Everton start.
Harrison has consistently been a solid fantasy performer in previous seasons, and his transfer went largely under the radar. Everton were in desperate need for a creative outlet besides the ever-present Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Fantrax Recap - Gameweek 8 Honorable Mentions
A few more on the honorable mention's list this week:
Simon Adingra - the pacey Brighton winger is seeing more gametime with European rotation and injuries at Brighton, and he is taking his opportunities well. His 21 point output this gameweek against a strong Liverpool side shows another glimpse of his fantasy potential as he is only rostered by 33% of fantasy managers.
Murillo - the strong Nottingham Forrest man made his second start, and while he didn't shine quite as much as his debut, fantasy-wise he was an asset. His attacking threat comes as somewhat of a surprise. His solo dribble through four players lacked a finish, but the threat was there to be seen and he was also dangerous as a set piece target. Expected to contribute defensively in the midfield, if Murillo can continue to be an offensive weapon he will prove to be a valuable fantasy weapon deserving of more than a mere 2% rostered.
Cole Palmer - The new Chelsea man has had a bright start since moving from City. He's already on penalty duty and could be a nice asset off your bench if he continues to see gametime. Only 58% of managers have him rostered, so keep an eye on him for your league.
Hwang Hee-Chan - Wolves need end product, and that's been the case for a few seasons now. Hwang Hee-Chan seems to be the guy who provides Wolves some much-needed finishing in front of goal. His fantasy outputs have been solid so far this season and if you need a F threat, he is only rostered by 51% of fantasy managers.
